Based in Southern California, Emily currently works as an executive-level marketing-communications, brand, and career consultant through her independent practice, Burkle Communications Consulting. She leverages her sixteen-year career to help clients create and grow marketing-communications programs that have meaningful and lasting results. In the past, she served as Managing Partner at Elle Communications and in her four and a half years with the agency, helped shape it as a leading, dynamic communications boutique that represents impact and lifestyle clientele that are changing the world. Over her career, Emily has developed and led holistic, strategic and creative public relations and marketing programs on a national scale across several media verticals, while simultaneously building internal operations procedures and training, mentorship, intern and hiring programs. She took particular interest in cultivating unique and progressive company cultures, focused on employee well- being and positive results. She believes in a progressive system of outcome measurement and bottom-line focused, results-driven plans. Previous to her position at Elle, Emily worked as an Account Supervisor at Charles Communications, representing brands in the food and wine space, with a specialty in sustainability. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, with an emphasis in Writing from the University of San Francisco and a Master’s in Marketing and Management with an emphasis in luxury food and wine from INSEEC Grande Ecole du Commerce in Bordeaux, France.
